# gpx2video — GPX to Video for macOS

> Convert GPX tracks to video with real-time GPS map overlay — a native macOS app that turns raw activity footage from cycling, running, road trips, motorcycling, or any outdoor sport into stunning videos with map widgets, speed/time HUD, and a route thumbnail with progress trail.

gpx2video reads a `.gpx` track file (exported from Garmin / Strava / Apple Fitness / Wahoo / mobile recorders) and burns it onto your video as live, time-synced overlays: a follow-mode map, a speed/time/heart-rate HUD with a full-activity heart-rate graph, and a circular route thumbnail with a progress trail. Edit on a timeline, preview in real time, export up to 4K with VideoToolbox hardware encoding. Built natively for Apple Silicon, no Electron, no cloud upload — everything renders locally.
