Open the .dmg
Double-click the downloaded file. A window with the gpx2video icon and an Applications folder shortcut will appear.

Drag to Applications
Drag the gpx2video icon onto the Applications folder shortcut. macOS will copy the app.

First launch
Open Launchpad and launch gpx2video. macOS may show a Gatekeeper prompt the first time — see below.
First-launch on macOS
If macOS shows "gpx2video can't be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software", right-click (or Control-click) the app icon → Open → Open. You only need to do this once. The app is signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarized; future launches use the standard double-click flow.
