Open the .dmg
Double-click the downloaded file. A window with the gpx2video icon and an Applications folder shortcut will appear.
Drag to Applications
Drag the gpx2video icon onto the Applications folder shortcut. macOS will copy the app.
First launch
Open gpx2video from Applications. macOS may ask you to confirm opening an app downloaded from the internet.
Opening existing projects
Version 1.3.0 reads older .g2v projects. Projects newly saved in format v5 require 1.3.0 or later. Keep the source videos and tracks available: a project references those files rather than bundling them.

The official download is signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple. A normal first-launch confirmation for an internet download may appear.
