What we collect

When you purchase Pro, we ask Stripe to collect your billing email and payment details. We store the email and a generated license key in our backend (Cloudflare KV) so we can verify your license and re-send it on request. When you click "Activate" or "Manage Subscription" in the app, the app sends your email + license key to our server to verify status.

What we do NOT collect

We never see, transmit, or store your videos, GPX tracks, project files, or any content you create with gpx2video. All editing and export happens on your Mac. The website uses Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that aggregates anonymous traffic stats (page views, country, referrer) without cookies, fingerprinting, or identifying individual visitors. The macOS app itself contains no analytics or third-party tracker.

Third-party services

• Stripe — payment processing (subject to Stripe's privacy policy) • Resend — sends your license key email (subject to Resend's privacy policy) • Cloudflare Workers / KV — hosts our license API • Umami (self-hosted at tongji.linkroutes.com) — anonymous, cookieless website analytics • OpenStreetMap / Mapbox — map tile providers, requested directly from your Mac (we do not proxy them)

Data retention

Your license record (email + license key + Stripe customer ID) is kept while your subscription is active. On refund or subscription cancellation our backend automatically deletes the record. You can request manual deletion at any time via the contact email below.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, or deletion of any personal data we hold by emailing us. We will respond within 14 days.
